Smith Travel Research (STR) Budget Breakfast

2013 Golf Tournament A Success!
Thanks to all of those who attended, sponsored and supported our 2013 VH&RA Golf Tournament at the Westin Kierland Golf Club earlier this month. Attendance, revenues and sponsorships were all increased from last year and we greatly appreciate our members' support of this critical annual fundraiser for the association. Special thanks to Bruce Lange and his team at the Westin Kierland for hosting this event each year.

Governments Presentation

AzLTA was asked to provide a tourism update at the May meeting of the Maricopa Association of Governments. Over ten Mayors, as well as other various city and county elected officials, attended and AzLTA provided some statistics and information about the value of tourism to their communities and the state. It was impressive how many mayors were vocally supportive of tourism and recognized our industry's impact!
